Authority keys for metadata was not handled in Simple Archive Format import. This enhancement adds this feature to the command line item import.
The dcvalue TAG in metadata xml has been extended with the following 2 optional attributes:
1. authority: the authority key for the given metadata value. Optional. Processed only for authority-controlled metadata fields. Otherwise, warning is given.
2. confidence: confidence value for the authority key. Optional, and used only if authority is present and not-empty. Possible values are UNSET, NOVALUE, REJECTED, FAILED, NOTFOUND, AMBIGUOUS, UNCERTAIN, ACCEPTED. Defaults to UNSET, if missing, or NOVALUE if erroneous value is given.
Note: If an authority key is received for an authority controlled metadata field, the metadata value will bypass the system's lookup among the already registered authority key-values pairs. Use this with extra care, and only if you know what you are doing! It is suggested to include only external authority keys, eg. ORCID IDs. Importing authority keys generated in an other DSpace instance might probably cause unintentional authority key collisions.
