      Description

There are scenarios when storing chunked content in DuraCloud storage poses problems. A prime example of this is when managing content that is meant for streaming. Any files over 1 GB (by default with the SyncTool) end up in chunks, which cannot be streamed by Cloudfront.

Traditionally we have stayed away from multi-part upload because of the inability to retrieve a final md5 checksum of the total file after upload. However, according to an AWS rep, the work-around for this is to perform the upload, then perform a copy/move operation, which will then return the checksum of the file that has been moved.
