The About page is provided with VIVO. It should be changed by each site to include local information. https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/VIVODOC110x/Preparing+for+Production in the VIVO documentation should have a page instructing sites what to do with the About Page.
Similarly, the Support link delivered with VIVO must be changed by the site prior to production to provide a good user experience. Documentation (perhaps the same page mentioned above) should instruct sites about changing the Support link.
The related issues described software changes that can/should be made to simplify the process.
